“Remove KATH CEO and put NDC man there”-NDC youth organiser

KATH-CEOSome youth in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) want the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) removed from office.

They say he is alien to the party.

They are therefore imploring the President to revoke the appointment of Mr. Issiah Offei-Gyimah as head of administrator for the facility.

Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of NDC, Kwaku Boahen on many platforms has intimated “the CEO is not our party member hence, we need to change him for party loyalists who passed through thick and thin to see us in power.”

He believes putting a “party person” in Mr. Offei-Gyimah’s position will help manifest the NDC’s “Better Ghana Agenda”.

He resounded this call to party delegates during his rounds to constituencies seeking re-election.

“His countinued stay in office is enemical to the party since he can skew things against the party’s interests”, he added.

Mr. Issiah Offeh-Gyimah was appointed Acting CEO after Prof. Ohene Agyei was asked to enjoy his accommulated leave in the public service.

Mr. Offeh-Gyimah played a vital role in the infamous KATH missing baby saga and seem to be a toast of many of the staff of the hospital who spoke to rawgist.com.
