Regional Minister, Asokwa MCE tour 1D1F in Asokwa

Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, Chief Akwannuasa Gyimah, Asokwa MCE and Unijay fashions tour factory complex in Ahinsan, a suburb in the Asokwa Municipality

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah accompanied by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asokwa, Chief Akwannuasah Gyimah Tuesday morning paid a working visit to the factory complex of UNIJAY fashions, a clothing firm located at Ahensan, a town within the Asokwa Municipality.

The clothing firm virtually sews all the school uniforms of Senior High Schools (SHS) located in the region as well as some basic schools in the Kumasi metropolis.

Addressing the workers at the factory complex, the Regional Minister commended them for their commitment to duty.

He urged them to do their utmost best to make the company stand on its toes to provide the services it was rendering to the people in the region.

‘’It is good seeing you work hard and I believe when you diligently do this one day when you are on your own God will help you succeed with this work ethic’’, Mr Osei Mensah posited.

COMMENDATION:

Commending the CEO of UNIJAY fashions, the regional minister said it takes diligence and a sense of focus to work at something for such a long time.

Mr Mensah noted that it was gratifying to see UNIJAY fashions continuously excel for the past two decades.

He rallied other fashion firms and companies to copy the work ethic and management style of the fashion company.

The Minister also urged other companies to embrace the opportunities the government’s policy of one district on factory entails and get funds to expand their businesses just as UNIJAY fashions has done.

MCE:

Speaking succinctly to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper, Chief Akwannuasah Gyimah,MCE for Asokwa lauded the fashion company for excelling at what they do.

He commended the CEO for deploying both talent and proper work ethic to ensure it produces quality clothing for the public.

Mr Akawannuasa noted that secondary schools do not have problems with getting their specified uniforms at the right time because UNIJAY is time conscious and professional in the manner they work.

He urged the workers to continue to work with diligence and good work ethic so as to sustain the standards UNIJAY has set for itself in the market space.
