Each class takes over 85 students.

There is no furniture in any of the classrooms forcing pupils to lie down during classes. Pupils come to school to meet empty classrooms and have to use the floor as their table while lying on their bellies. The situation remains the same even during exams; a situation the teachers say does not help teaching and learning activities in the school.

rawgist.com’s Michael Amoateng reports after a visit to the school, that even teachers have no furniture in any of the classrooms. The pupils he spoke to also reveal that they lack text books.

“Some of us have to stand throughout the day when we report to school”, a teacher told rawgist.com, revealing that the school’s PTA has provided a few chairs which are woefully inadequate.

The school also faces some serious sanitation crises according to rawgist.com’s Michael Amoateng. The authorities are calling on government, groups and individuals to rally to their aid to help the school out of its current predicament.
