Psalms Institute holds matriculation

Ghana News-The Psalms Institute for Worship-Music, Media and Arts (PIWMMA) has held its first matriculation ceremony for its first batch of persons wanting to get skills in praise and gospel music.

At a colorful and elaborate event last week in Kumasi, President and Founder of the Institute, Pastor Samuel Adjei Boadi traced the outfit’s progress from the year 2006 when it was first established.

According to him, the institute started with a small group of students who showed interest in putting their vocal talents at the disposal of God.

Since then, Pastor Boadi noted many of the group members have risen to become national stars and ministers of gospel music.

Based in Kumasi at two places, Buokrom near St Anthony Church and Victory Campus-Buokrom, the institute plans to open up enrolment processes in January to February, May to June and September to October every year.

There are opportunities, Pastor Boadi mentioned for those wanting to undertake lectures on part time and full time basis as the Institute provides flexible terms of payment for tuition for its students.

VISION:

The Institute, the Founder mentioned has a vision of inculcating right values in its students to enable them serve God better with their talents.

PIWMMA also seeks to help its students explore hidden talents embedded in them so as to be able to deplore it to the world of music.

The Institute, Pastor Boadi noted is determined to nurture, train and improve every available skill in its students for the work of God.

PIWMMA, the leader stressed exists to provide an avenue for its students to be adequately trained and equipped for global impact.

WORSHIP LEADER:

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper, Minister Joe Oteng encouraged people who want to explore their talents in worship music to enroll at PIWMMA.

He noted that the institute’s desire is to train and churn out people who are thirsty for God and the work of his Kingdom.

According to him, PIWMMA exists to sharpen raw and rough talents of people interested in worship music.

‘’We are determined to ensure those who are hungry to do pure worship and gospel music are given the best of training so that they can conveniently compete with all others in the world’’, Minister Oteng posited.
