President Mahama’s record in water provision is unparalleled-Felix Kwakye Ofosu

Felix-Kwakye-OfosuDeputy Communications Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has praised the President for his commitment to the provision of potable water to Ghanaians everywhere in the country including those in the remotest areas.

He says “in the last three years, 77.5 million gallons of water per day(gpd) have been added to the national water supply system following the completion of a number of major water projects” .

The outspoken government official says “this will increase to 102.9 million gpd in 2016 after the completion of more water projects”.

In a post on his Facebook wall, Felix Kwakye Ofosu says the performance of President John Mahama represents the biggest leap in water provision by any Ghanaian government.

He cited two of the recently completed water projects; the Essakyir Water Supply Project (1 million gpd) and the Nsawam Water Supply Project (1.7million gpd).
