The Chief Executive Officer of M.Y Ventures; Dr. Caesar has expressed support for the President’s comments on Ghanaian women.
Ghana’s President said at a recent conference in Canada that there has not been enough dynamism in the gender parity agenda of the country. He called on Ghanaian women to step up efforts to get women into power at all levels of society.
Feminists and a good number of Ghanaians were unhappy with the President’s comments. Many took to social media to vent their opinions on the President’s comments.
Dr. Caesar however says the President’s comment was not meant to denigrate women but rather to get them to do more towards the fulfillment of their potential.
“The President was trying to empower African Women to work harder to achieve their dreams but not insult them” he stressed.
He made the comments at his company’s premises during a Press conference he organized to comment on the matter of women’s empowerment.
