PRESIDENT AKUFO-ADDO IS WORKING FOR US—-NANA AMA AMPOMAH ASSURES MUSLIMS.

Nana Ama Ampomah, Ashanti Regional women’s organiser for the NPP addressing Muslims at Kokode, a community in the Kwadaso constituency

The Ashanti Regional Women’s Organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Ama Ampomah early Thursday morning joined the Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, Dr Kingsley Nyarko at the Kokode School Park to celebrate Eid with Muslims in the community.

The two also asked for prayers from the Chief Imam for the President and members of the New Patriotic Party as well as government appointees.

Presenting food stuffs and some undisclosed amount of cash at the end of the official prayer,  Madam Ampomah said it was always good to share when one has opportunity.

She noted that having endured the gruelling 30 day fast which is termed Ramadan, it was important that those who engaged in same are given tokens to express appreciation to them for praying and interceding for the country.

“After going through this difficult spiritual exercise called fasting it is important that those of us who appreciate the prayer and sacrifices give to support Muslims during EID”,  the regional women’s organiser stressed.

GOVERNMENT:
The NPP women’s organiser said government can work well when it has a conducive environment.

Together with other religious groups, Madam Ampomah said Muslims had worked to make the country peaceful.

She therefore was hopeful that prayers offered for the President,  the VEEP and ministers as well as MPs would yield good results so they can steer the affairs of state to realise prosperity for all in the country.

“The Nana Addo government is determined to do its best to grow the Ghanaian economy despite the effects of Covid-19 so that jobs could be created for the mass of the youth and the unemployed”, Madam Ampomah assured.

MP:
on his part,  Dr Kingsley Nyarko thanked the regional women’s organiser and her team for deciding to choose Kwadaso as where they would share fellowship with Muslims during EID.

He noted that the food rations and package given to the Muslims leaders in his constituency shows that the Women’s wing and its leader care so much about the people.

Dr Nyarko however admonished the Muslim youth to seek education at all levels.

This, he noted would help them get better job opportunities and prevent them from becoming a burden on their parents and the society.
