Polling station officials to place injunction on Atwima Nwabiagya south NPP primaries

There is tension at the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency as the New Patriotic Party Chairman there stands accused of denying a Parliamentary aspirant nomination forms.

Information available to rawgist.com is that the aspirant; Mr. William Owusu has been trying to obtain nomination forms for two weeks now but has consistently been unable to do from the party’s constituency office.

The situation has angered some polling station officials from various communities within the constituency who have threatened to stand up to the party Chairman; Mr. Oduro Frimpong.

They say it is one of two things; either he makes forms available to all aspirants or they place a court injunction on the electoral process within that constituency.

The spokesperson of the aggrieved polling station officials Mr. David Osei complained bitterly about the attitude of the chairman during an interview and accused him of being inimical to the development of the party.

They say they are ready to secure the court order in order to stop the whole process if the chairman refuses to do what is right for the party.

“We have informed the regional executives of the situation, and there is no positive outcome, hence our decision to register our displeasure through the media, before taking legal action.
