Pappy Kojo calls for unity among Takoradi artistes

Pappy-kojo1Ghanaian musician Pappy Kojo has called on residents and musicians from Takoradi to unite under one umbrella to bring home something good to Takoradi.

He was speaking on Maxx All Access on Radio Maxx with host Kwesi Kuma Ntim AKA Papa Sey.

He cited the boys from Tema and urged Takoradi artistes to unite since divisions will earn them nothing.

Pappy Kojo says he was downhearted when his music was not making any hits and gave up for some time on music until he later made a determination to make it in the music industry no matter what.

He says although he is grateful to God where he is, he is not yet where he wants to be.

“I want to be the face of the new generation of musicians. And take Ghana international”, he told Papa Sey.

On the VGMA, he said contrary to opinions that you needed your management on the board to get nominated, he had no one on the board or high up in the industry. He indicated that he doesn’t care what anyone said about his nomination because he believes his nomination and awards so far are well deserved.

He however wouldn’t talk about the lady in his life and always pretended not to hear the question whenever the host asked about the woman who inspires him.
