Paa Kwesi Fabian unpaid for nine months – GFA

Paa Kwesi FabianFred Crenstil, Chairman of the Management Committee of the National Under-17, team the Black Starlets has revealed that0 the head coach of the team, Paa Kwesi Fabian has not been paid for nine months.

Crenstil told the Justice Senyo Dzamefe Presidential Commission of Inquiry, on Monday, that, the coach’s salary has been in arrears for the past nine months despite qualifying the team to the Africa Under-17 Championship in Niger, Next year.

According to Crenstil, the coach and the technical team are owed other allowances and bonuses as well.

He said the state was supposed to pay the coaches, but efforts to facilitate that have not been successful.

The Commission has therefore asked Crenstil, to submit all outstanding arrears to it for further action.

He suggested that, the government should provide the Ghana Football Association (GFA) the necessary assistance to uplift the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence at Prampram to enhance training and camping for the national teams.
