Nyinahin will soon be the backbone of Ghana’s economy – MP

Mr. Isaac Kwame Asiamah ,Minister of Youth and Sports and Member of Parliament (MP) for Atwima Mponua Constituency, has expressed the hope that, the future of the country would depend on the constituency.

He believes his constituency will become the backbone of Ghana’s economy.

According to him, the constituency can boast of over 45 billion dollars of bauxite as deposit, and for that matter, could drive the economy of Ghana when government starts the exploration of the bauxite.

Speaking to the electorates , at a “Peoples Forum”, he revealed that, government is doing everything possible to ensure that bauxite exploration begins in the constituency as soon as possible. He also assures them that government is working on modalities to protect the citizenry and make sure they benefit from the mineral resource.

, to enable him account to the people who voted him into parliament, which he observed could enable him address the pressing issues affecting the people who he represent in parliament.

He  entreated the constituents to support the NPP government to deliver and make Ghana a better place.

He disclosed  that the government has awarded 70 kilometers of road to be tarred soon. He adds that all town roads will soon be fixed.

He indicated that, the government has also started mini sports stadium at Nyinahin; the constituency capital to unravel the talents in the youth while improving lesser known sports in the area. He added that, there would be modern railways passing through the constituency soon and explained how it will help solve the unemployment situation in the area.

Nana Oti Bodua, the Akwamuhene of Nyinahin who represented the Chief of the town,  commended the government through the minister for the good policies and social interventions initiated to improve the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian voters.

He also pleaded with government and the minister to prioritize the unemployment issues among the youth devoid of discrimination or partisan sentiment.

He entreated the minister to collaborate with the Assembly to improve their roads network and improve Sanitation by ensuring that, there are enough toilet facilities in the town to stop open defecation.
