NPP lost elections because God was fed up with them-Yammin

yammin-adansiFormer Deputy Sports Minister Hon Joseph Yammin says the NPP went to opposition because God was fed up with them.

This he said was as a result of a leaked tape by an NPP faithful Annor Dompreh on the efforts made by the NPP to win elections during the 2008 general elections.

According to him, since the NPP is used to multiple voting ,they were uncomfortable with the biometric register;adding that the NPP had previously suggested the introduction of the biometric register rather than the analogue voters register.

Many names were removed from the voters register during the introduction of the biometric register since it was considered as ghost names.

He was speaking in an interview with Sir Richmond Antwi Boasiako on Royal 89.3 fm’s morning show.

Hon.Yammin noted that in 2004 the NPP had that advantage since they were in government; a situation he believes should not have occurred and adds that during the second round the NDC had no polling agents to sign the pink sheets in the various polling stations but the NPP went ahead to accept the results.

‘‘The NPP is always delighted to rig elections in the country’’,  Yammin said confidently.
