NPP Executives advocate for Francis Addai Nimo’s appointment into government

Ghana Politics News-Some Executives and members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti region are unhappy former Member of Parliament for Mampong has been sidelined so far by the government.

They were nursing high hopes that Mr. Francis Addai Nimo would be given a place in government during the recent ministerial reshuffle. That however did not materialize.

A group; United Chairmen for Ashanti Progress have appealed to the President to appoint him into office in a ministerial capacity.

They argue at a press conference that Mr. Addai Nimo is very hardworking and has sacrificed a lot for the party.

They are also impressed by his steadfastness in his support for the party and the grassroots despite being sidestepped by his party’s government.

They say Mr. Francis Addai Nimo who has also contested to become flag bearer of the NPP has all the right credentials to operate in government.

They believe the former MP, when given a ministerial position, will serve well and also be in a better position to champion their welfare.
