NDC’s 2025 Budget is a great Deception – Techiman South MP
The Member of Parliament for Technician South Constituency, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, says the government’s total spending allocation, as contained in the 2025 Budget, is higher than what Ghanaians were told during the electioneering campaigns.
The former Minister for Local Government, Decentralization, and Rural Development said, “Appointing a lesser number of Ministers and allocating a bigger amount of money to them is rather deception. Therefore, the NDC’s 2025 Budget could be referred to as the “great deception. “
Hon. Adjei-Mensah Korsah commented in the chamber of Parliament on Friday while debating on the 2025 Budget.
Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah further said the budget does not contain any allocation for the NDC’s much-touted 24-hour economy which amounts to disappointing the good People of Ghana.
The Techiman South MP further said the ‘Blue Water Guards’ initiative the NDC Government has introduced to protect our Rivers from galamsey will not work because those who engage in galamsey are well armed.
