NDC supporters blast Bagbin for describing Mahama’s administration as ‘animal farm’

Ghana News-A section of the supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are unhappy with comments made by Alban Bagbin against ex-president Mahama’s administration.

The Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament has been a strong critic of Mahama since declaring his own intention of contesting the flagbearership of the NDC party.

Earlier this week, Mr. Bagbin described the Mahama’s administration as an “animal farm” government which did not bode well for hard working party members.

According to him, monkeys were working and baboons were “chopping” during the former president’s tenure. “That is why you had unknown people appearing from nowhere and getting top appointments.

While people like you and other Executives who had toiled for the party had been ignored,” Mr. Bagbin lamented whiles speaking to some party communicators. However, it appears his utterances have not sat quite well with a section of the NDC supporters.

In a Facebook poll run by YEN.com.gh to determine if Ghanaians generally agreed with the former Deputy Speaker’s description of the erstwhile Mahama government, many were negative.

Most persons who commented held the view that Mr. Bagbin is a hypocrite, insisting he should have voiced such a concern out whiles his party was in power, rather than do it now.

Spencer Marco wrote: “Hahahaha….forgotten that, he was also part Mahama’s administration……..so guess what? he’s an EQUALL animal.”

Nelson Anane Keku also said: “Bagbin is so desperate that’s why his fooling around is not serious at all, he shouldn’t bring stupidity in the congress at all.”

Herty Coffie preferred to be cheeky as he commented: “So which animal was he?” Ezekiel Duamor also added: “This is very stupid talk ,as an honorable man Ghana have a problem.”
