NDC Serial callers condemn “unfortunate” action of 10 Regional Chairmen

NDC Serial callers, known within the NDC as Media Monitors are unhappy with the endorsement of former President John Mahama for flagbearership ahead of the party’s congress.

They say their action has the tendency of creating problems for the party.

A statement released by the leadership of the Media monitors explain that these Chairmen are not even guaranteed the chairmanship during the next elections.

They believe former President Mahama does not stand to benefit in any way from the action of the chairmen and hence call on the National Executive of the Party to punish the regional chairmen to serve as a deterrent to others.

Please read their statement below:

ASHANTI REGIONAL MEDIA MONITORS (NDC SERIAL CALLERS )
CONDEMNED THE UNFORTUNATE ACTION OF OUR TEN REGIONAL CHAIRMEN.
We the members of the above mentioned Association wish to condemn the actions of our ten regional Chairmen.
We see their conduct as unfortunate and it has the tendency of creating disunity in our great NDC. The ten regional chairpersons don’t have any guarantee that they will get the opportunity to lead the party in their respective regions again before the election of who is going to lead us in 2020.

So why the rush?
Again, we believed that given equal opportunity to all the potential candidates will be the best interest Of the party.
Moreover we also believe that His Excellency John Dramani Mahama does not need this divisive declaration before leading the party come 2020,because he has already marketed himself in the party..
We therefore call on the National Executive Committee (NEC.) to discipline them and all those who intended to create confusion in the NDC party..
Thank you.
