NDC Media monitors lash Wontumi over his utterances

The Media Montiors Group of the NDC in the Ashanti region has lashed out at Ashanti NPP Chairman; Bernard Antwi Boasiako over his comments he will influence who becomes an office holder in the NDC.

The Media Monitors say he should paddle his own canoe since NDC leadership cannot be bought with stolen State funds.

A statement released by the group hinted that the NDC also had their moles within the NPP Executive and are ready to match Chairman Wontumi “boot for boot”.

They advise the NPP and Chairman Wontumi to focus on taking Ghanaians from the hardship they face; a situation they say has been brought about due to the incompetent leadership of the NPP.

“…Mr. Wuntumi has thought less of considering apologizing to Ghanaians, less of helping his party’s leadership in strategizing an escape from the woes they have and are putting Ghanaians through. We, of the NDC media monitors regret to say we never expected any better from his person”.

Abdul Latif Abdullahi (Julius Agahowa) tells rawgist.com the utterances of the Ashanti NPP Chairman lack substances and should be disregarded as any of his utterances.

For Immediate Release

The National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Media Monitors’ Response to Mr. Wuntuni’s Non-Intuitive Remarks regarding influencing Our Regional Elections

The Media Montors group of the Ashanti Regional Branch of the National Democratic Congress has received an audio material in which Mr. Wuntumi, the Ashanti regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party, is heard to be boasting of his intention and scheming to decide who is elected as a regional representative or executive of our party, the NDC. It is rather unfortunate that, as non-intuitive as he sounded, our precious time has been diverted to cautiously respond to his gibbering.

It is bad enough that Mr. Wuntumi, considering the deceptive propaganda he run in order to deceive Ghanaians to elect a clueless, insensitive and self-centered government of the NPP, to which every Ghanaian, including NPP members are crying foul, Mr. Wuntumi has thought less of considering apologizing to Ghanaians, less of helping his party’s leadership in strategizing an escape from the woes they have and are putting Ghanaians through. We, of the NDC media monitors regret to say we never expected any better from his person. We are albeit grateful to him for speaking our local language “twi” and not English as it saved us must time and trouble in understanding his twaddle.

As a caution, it is safe to advise Mr. Wuntumi that in as much as he had claimed NPP executives cannot be bought, though they have and we know who we have among his lines of elected executives, he should be rest assured we will point out publicly anyone he attempts to sway with stolen Ghanaian money. The NDC executives are bent on relieving Ghanaians from the insecurities and incompetence of the NPP government and a fortiori would not be bought as easily as it was done for the NPP executives. It is also safe to say that we the media monitors group are determined to match him shoe for shoe if needs be, to secure the integrity of our upcoming elections. We would normally not respond to such claims as we feel intelligence comes with so much silence, much action and sensibly weighted verbiage. None of these could be inferred from his speech and as a precautionary measure, responding to him has only been necessitated by our determination to advise him in focusing his energy on intelligent and strategic speeches.

It is hoped that by this press release, Mr. Wuntumi is advised to understand he is dealing with an NDC different what it used to be before the elections.
Long live Ghana.
Long live NDC
