NDC can’t fool us with artificial management-Manhyia North MP

manhyia_northmpThe incumbent Member of Parliament for the Manhyia North Constituency, Hon Collins Owusu Amankwah has uncovered plans by the ruling government to deceive the populace with an artificial management of the infamous power crisis popularly termed ‘dumsor‘.

According to him, the current stable power supply was only a ploy to hoodwink people that the crisis is over, adding the country risks bringing the debilitating darkness back if the NDC is retained as government in the upcoming polls in December.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper in Kumasi after leading his constituents to embark on a four(4) hour health walk christened ‘Walk for Power, the MP said government was using monies meant for roads and other infrastructural developments to fuel some power plants scattered across the regions.

Having described these power plants which were purchased by the Kufuor Administration as ‘toys’, the youngest MP noted government had now found solace in the items they recently spoke ill about.

CHANGE:
Hon Amankwah urged the populace to wise up and see through the lies of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) who he described as deceivers.

He challenged Ghanaians to rise up to the wave of change that was blowing across the country and mentioned the NPP was ready to take power in the December polls.

According to him, the party was prepared to reverse the critical energy situation when given the chance to rule.

He insisted the NPP was promising a new way of doing things which will propel the country back to economic prosperity when it is elected as government.

MASSIVE WIN:
Touching on the electoral fortunes of the NPP, Hon Amankwah stressed the party was aiming at winning the entire parliamentary seats in the 47 constituencies in Ashanti and had targeted the presidency with a margin of 80percent.

According to him, rather than the former way of doing things the party had now deployed what he termed ‘retail campaign’ method where individuals are reached by party faithful with the NPP message.

‘’We are now focusing our strengths in retail campaigning and determined to reach every home or community with the message of change by our flag-bearer, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo’’, Hon Amankwah confidently posited.

He noted, ‘NPP is well aware that the NDC treasures propaganda and therefore we are also dominating every medium with our policies and programs so that the majority of Ghanaians can buy the truth on our side’.
