NANA AMA AMPOMAH DINES WITH UNDER-PRIVILEGED KIDS AT AYIGYA.
The Ashanti Regional Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Ama Ampomah on the 9th of January, 2021 which happened to be her birthday dined with kids at the All Nations Charity Home.
Clad in all-white attire signifying the mood she was in, Madam Ampomah danced to music and dined with the neatly dressed children at the home.
Accompanied by some NPP sympathizers including groups such as Friends of Nana Ama Ampomah, Crusaders as well as Mrs Nkansah Boadu, the NPP women’s leader also presented some food items and drinks to the Home.
Other items such street lights, solar lamps and toiletries were also donated by the NPP women’s leader to the inmates.
Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper, Madam Ampomah said she was glad to have the opportunity to share in the joy of her birthday with the under-privileged children.
‘’I am happy to see this day and to share the same with these kids at the All Nations Home makes me happier because they deserve the love I have enjoyed from my parents’’, the Women’s leader stated.
APPRECIATION:
Reverend Philip Kwasi Nyamekye, Head of the Home commended the NPP women’s leader for the gesture.
He noted that the decision to celebrate her day with the kids has given them hope that they are loved by the society.
Rev Nyamekye said the volume of items donated would give the home opportunity to feed the children well.
He also noted that with the street lights the home would be lighted during the evenings and the nights.
The Home keeper also used the occasion to pray for the women organiser and the team and urged other well to do persons to emulate the gesture by Madam Ampomah so that the Children at Children Homes in the country would feel loved and for being a part of the society.
