My desire is to see every home confess Christ-Bishop Elvis Acheampong

Ghana Religion News-The General Overseer of the Global Outreach Center for the Great Commission, a missions-centered church with heard-quarters in the United States of America, Apostle Dr Elvis Acheampong says his desire in life to see all people in the world come to know the Lord Jesus as their savior.

Speaking to this reporter after leading a subsidiary youth group, Jesus Revolution in an evangelism drive in some district capitals in the Ashanti Region, the servant of the Lord expressed delight at the opportunity to reach people in the hinterlands with the simple message of Christ.

According to him, the times we live in speak of all that Christ prophesied about his second coming into the world.

This, he noted places a great task on all Christians and not a select few to reach every soul with the message of the love, birth, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

‘’We as a mission church are focused in carrying out our core mandate which is to reach every soul we find with the message of the Gospel and as we tour these district capitals of Ashanti we are determined to make disciples at every home we visit’’, Bishop Elvis passionately stressed.

MOTIVATON:

Bishop Elvis attested to the motivation he and the Jesus Revolution team had gained from speaking to the people of Dominase and Kuntanase, two towns they visited on Tuesday morning.

He mentioned the desire to even reach more people in Kodie and Offinso, two district capitals they were visiting Thursday morning.

Bishop Elvis flanked by her daughter who also has passion for soul-winning urged Christians elsewhere in the country to take up their cross and talk about Christ wherever they work or live.

This, he stressed will be a great testimony to the Lord about the commitment of Christians to reach the whole world with the message of the cross of Calvary.

‘’I believe it is time for all Christians to rise up from any slumber they may be in so we take on the world for Jesus as we reach every home with the word of Christ’’, Bishop Elvis stressed.

FIELD DIRECTOR:

On her part, the field director of Jesus Revolution, Rev Mrs Alice Boateng-Sarpong urged Christians to join in the soul winning mandate given to the church.

She noted no single individual or Pastor could by himself carry out the task put on the church by Christ Jesus.

This task, she stressed could only be achieved when Christians from all walks of life decide to rise up to their responsibilities.

She, however, expressed satisfaction about the way people in the district capitals have received the word of the Lord and urged the team to be spurred on by the positive feedback they were picking to do more for Christ Jesus.

‘’I thank the committed team that is with me especially my leader, Bishop Elvis for showing passion for soul winning and I pray as we finish the last leg of the month-long evangelism God will help us reach more people for his glory’’, Rev Alice noted.
