MTN-Ghana interacts with customers at Obuasi

Ghana News-MTN Ghana last Thursday visited customers at Obuasi to listen to their concerns first hand and also solicit their feedback on new products and innovations.

During the visit, Mobile Money merchants, SIM card sellers, security personnel, farmers, workers of various backgrounds had the opportunity to interact with MTN staff and put across their concerns.

MTN executives also took advantage of the forum to update them on the state of the network.

Participants at the forum was excited to hear the huge infrastructural additions MTN was making especially in relation to the number of cell sites within the region.

Charles Osei-Akoto; Head of Technical for MTN Northern Business District explained how the network reception was going to improve significantly in the Obuasi area within a short space.

In an interview after the forum, Mr. Osei-Akoto told rawgist.com’s Bernard Buachi; “We in Ashanti are coming down to the community level again. Last year we met the Ejura community…this year we are at Obuasi to have our community forum. We want to solicit their views on our network and operations. We also get to answer their most nagging questions. We are upgrading our systems and we need to get feedback from our customers on how our expansion projects are impacting them”.

He called on MTN Customers to look out for a new feature which was launched about a week ago called the high definition sound which enhances the sound quality of calls.
