Hammer Nti got into showbiz in the year 1996 when he interned under Joe Anin and FLash Jnr at OTEC FM in Kumasi. He later joined Crystal TV in the year 1998 as a marketer where he hosted Crystal Train and Tele-Friends shows until 2002.

Hammer established his own business in 2002 and named it after his nickname Hammer Productions (www.hammerproductions.net). Hammer Productions is a thriving media and advertising agency based in Kumasi with clientele base across Ghana. The agency specializes in radio & TV commercials, billboard advertising and events. After years of laying solid foundation to the company, Hammer was invited to return to radio by the Legend, Kwame Adinkrah on his breakfast show Fox Morning Drive on FOX97.9FM. Hammer Time began. The segment ran on Fox from 2002 to 2005.

Hammer had featured in two movies during that period: Fa Saa Da M’ase, and Spirit of Darkness

For a long time, Hammer Nti remained at his agency; leveraging his contacts and experiences with notable showbiz personalities whilst hosting one social event after another with his own base of celebrity friends. Kumasi bears witness to ‘Pre Val All-White 2007, ‘All Red Pool Party 2009’ and League of Legends Party 2014 (photos attached). His personal relations with these stars remain intact, and mutually beneficial to date.

Hammer’s latest return to radio was again upon invitation by the Legend, Kwame Adinkrah, to once again present Hammer Time on Pure Morning Drive at PURE95.7FM. The show has been running since 2019 with over 60 studio guests comprising a tall list of celebrities, media personalities and industry players. www.hammertimegh.com

The show is conceived with deep appreciation for talents and acts who have stayed the course of producing quality music, movies, and general stardom over a period of 10 years and over in retrospective. Production holds that, such veterans deserve exclusivity in media coverage and attention especially in this modern era of young and energetic scramble for the spotlight. As the trends show, artistes from back in the day do not get equal or fair share of airplay, show bookings and media attention as new genres take over the airwaves. It is this gap that Hammer Time fills to bring renowned but almost forgotten acts for a 2-hr exclusive interview in Kumasi.

Guests are booked weeks in advance, hosted at least a day before, with flight and accommodation reservations borne by production. Reasons for which are because, most of our invited guests stay outside Kumasi – predominantly in Accra. The show has its video production crew that takes footages of every session live or pre-recorded and shares it on our various media platforms. As yet, Hammer Time attracts thousands of subscribers on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. YouTube alone has crossed over 1 million+ views.
