Let’s be disciplined ahead of 2020 polls- Sam Pyne chastises NPP delegates

Ashanti NPP Secretary; Sam Payne

The Ashanti regional secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP); Mr. Samuel Pyne is unhappy with what he calls the rude behavior of some party delegates in the region toward their Members of Parliament, constituency and regional executives of the party.

He called on them to be disciplined at a time the party is preparing to kick start her house to house campaign. “Let’s bury our differences and forge ahead to propagate the numerous social interventions the party is implementing and desist from the needless personal attacks, bickering and the “pull him down” syndrome, which in effect, may not be of great interest to the country at large” he said.

‘’I have observed that some of you lack the etiquette to stand before the electorates, and if we carry such attitudes into the 2020 campaign, we may be doing a great disservice to the party and the country, he said.

Mr. Pyne said this when addressing party delegates at the Ejisu Constituency over the week.

“To be able to maximize our votes in 2020 polls, we need to accord each other, the necessary and maximum respect, free from insults and ill-bred attitude towards campaigning” he stressed.
