Ghana News-A young law student and native of Yendi, Alhassan Abdul Fataw popularly known as lawyer Jofa has donated jerseys and sports items worth GHC 6,000.00 to the Yendi Municipal Sports contingent in the ongoing 22nd edition of Northern Regional Inter Districts basics school sports competition held in Yendi.
Presenting the items on his behalf, Mr. Issah Muahaideen indicated that this is the token from Mr. Abdul-Fatawu towards motivating his younger brothers and sisters to achieve higher heights in the sporting competition.
“Mr Fatawu, who is also a sportsman saw the need to assist in this little way as a motivation to the representatives of the Yendi Municipality”, he stressed.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Municipality, the Yendi Municipal Education Director, Mr Alhassan Mustapha was full of praises for the kind gesture and called for more of such benevolence.
