Ashanti Region News-A five (5) year old boy has drowned at the airport roundabout after heavy downpour in some parts of Kumasi.
The sad incident which occurred on Saturday around 6pm has thrown residents in and around the area into a state of shock.
Some parts of the Metropolis were flooded after an hour down pour.
An eyewitness Sofo Boadi narrating the unfortunate incident to Abusua Fm’s Osei Kwadwo said the deceased who was walking with the elder brother slipped into a gutter which many have described as a death trap.
According to Sofo Boadi, all effort by Fire Service personnel, NADMO and section of the community members to locate the body proved futile.
He says the search for the body will continue tomorrow.
