Kooko kicks Kwaw Kese off “Obiaa To II”, find out his reason

kookoControversial Brong Ahafo based musician Kooko says he has kicked Kwaw Kese off his upcoming track; Obiaa to II.

The song was supposed to feature Yaa Pono and Kwaw Kese.

Kooko tells rawgist.com’s Bernard Buachi that after agreeing on modalities for the track, Kwaw Kese has held the track up for over four months; a situation he feels is in bad faith.

Yaa Pono and I are long done writing our verses but Kwaw Kese seems to see me as a competitor and a formidable one as well. He fears I will take over his fans and is hence holding up the song”, Kooko explains.

He has vowed to release the song by end of this month without Kwaw Kese. He wants his fans to forgive the delay and look forward to the track which he promises will be a game changer.

He further accuses Kwaw Kese of lacking lyrics say; ” if he had told us, we would have written some for him to sing”.

Kooko has awoken the Brong Ahafo musical landscape and continues to gain recognition on the national stage after releasing his controversial Od3 featuring Yaa Pono. He later sustained the attention with Obiaa To I. Obiaa To II is set for release howbeit without Kwaw Kese by end of October 2016.
