‘It’s time to leave’ – Kasim tells Young Boys

BSC Young Boys defender Kassim Nuhu is looking forward to a move away from the Swiss club during the summer transfer.

Kassim, 23, signed for Leganes from Medeama in 2014 and was loaned to Real Mallorca. He moved to Young Boys in 2016 and has since been playing for them in the Swiss Super League.

His stellar performances has attracted several clubs in Europe including Premier league giant Newcastle United back in June.

Latest to join in demand for his signature is German Bundesliga outfit TSG Hoffenheim.

“I have given Hoffenheim my word and that is, I’m ready to play for them in the upcoming season,” Kasim told SportsworldGhana.com.

“I feel I have paid my dues at Young Boys especially after helping them win the league title for the first time in 32 years.

“It’s been an amazing feeling playing for Young Boys and also being part of the club’s history but I think this is the right time for me to open a new chapter elsewhere,” he added.

His solid performance is gradually earning him a commanding role at the national team level, having already made four appearances and netted two goals.
