ISIS men arrested with grenades at Odorkor

The Odorkor police have arrested three suspects for possessing grenades, ClassFMonline.com can confirm.

They were arrested in the morning of Monday, 15 January.

Seven grenades and other explosive ammunition were found on them.

One suspect, Abdul Karim, was picked up through police intelligence at Agape in Accra and he subsequently led to the arrest of two other suspects, Osman Alhassan, 33; and Ishmael Ali Musa, 31.

Ishmael Ali Musa is believed to have ties with terrorist group ISIS in Libya.

The grenades and ammunition are also believed to have been brought into Ghana from Libya.

All three suspects are currently being held at the Police Headquarters for interrogation and investigation.
