I will chase Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu out if given the nod-Brogya Genfi

20151114_145537[1]NDC aspirant for the Suame parliamentary seat; Brogya Genfi has appealed to all members of the NDC in the Suame
constituency to vote massively for him at the Party’s Primaries to enable him wrestle the seat from the NPP incumbent.

He says though Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has occupied the seat for over twenty years, he has brought no development to the constituency.

He urges the NDC to field a candidate who was born and bred at Suame to root out the Minority leader.

He revealed during a well attended rally he held last weekend that he has played in every nook and cranny of Suame and has friends and classmates all over and is a well known and an appealing prospect. “There are even people in the NPP and other opposition parties who have declared their support for my bid, and I welcome everyone”, he said.

Brogya Genfi comes from one of the largest families in Suame. His Grandfather; the late Nana Kofi Genfi II was the owner of Nurom Hotels Ltd. He was also member of parliament under the Busia regime together with former President J.A Kufour, J.H Mensah and others and was a founding member of the NPP.

Brogya Genfi’s uncle; Boateng Genfi, is also a strong politician howbeit with the NPP who lost to the incumbent MP during the NPP’s primaries.

The Suame constituency seat has been held by Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu for about twenty years. His tenure has however bred apathy in the constituency and even in the NPP there; a situation Brogya Genfi believes will play out in his favour when voted Parliamentary candidate during the party’s primaries later this month.
