DOCTORSThe strike action by Health Workers Union is having a negative toll on health care delivery as doctors and nurses in public hospitals have refused to attend to all Out Patient Department cases.

Many patients in need of care went to the hospitals this morning but were turned away because of the strike.

The health workers including the Health Service Workers Union , Ghana Registered Nurses’ Association , Ghana Medical Association ,Ghana Physician Assistants’ Association ,Ghana Pharmacists Association and the Ghana Association of Certified Registered Anesthetists, have partly withdrawn their services attending to only emergency cases.
