Mahama AyarigaWorking out on a regular basis can be a difficult task for most of us. We can tell ourselves that our schedules don’t allow time for fitness but that would be a lie. Each and every one of us can find 15 minutes during the day to devote to working out.

Whether you have just started trying to get fit or you have been doing it for years, everyone can use a little inspiration from time to time to look fit and healthy.

However, the newly appointed Youth and Sports Minister, Hon. Mahama Ayariga has said that, it will be necessary now for every community across the country to form a Keep Fit Club.

He noted that his ministry will rapidly embark on a nationwide awareness for communities to form these clubs. This he believes will unearth sports talents as well as making one stronger for health reasons.

Mr. Ayariga who toured the Kaneshie (now Azumah Nelson) Sports Complex in the city [Accra] assured that, the community Keep Fit Clubs will be supervised by the nation’s security services.

“The Ministry of Youth and Sports will soon embark on Nationwide Keep Fit Campaign so that every community will be encouraged to have Keep Fit clubs. This will be done using the physical instructors of the Police Service, Ghana Armed Forces and the Ghana Education Service,” he said on his Facebook wall
