The Taimako scholarship program will continue for ten years.

Beneficiaries of the scholarship who spoke to rawgist.com were full of gratitude and promised to make the best use of the opportunity granted them.

Isha Ibrahim; one of the beneficiaries shared her story with rawgist.com; “I was raised by my mother up to Junior High School when she lost her job. I later had to move in with my Uncle and his wife. My happiness turned into sorrow when my Uncle tried on several occasions to abuse me sexually. My refusal to allow him have his way with me resulted in my sack from the house.”

Headmaster of BCI revealed that the school was set up in 2003 to help the poor and vulnerable have an education. He says the school has helped people with poor grades whose education would have ended if not for the school.
