Health Support Foundation pushes boundaries of volunteerism; head for Betensinso & Amponsakrom

HSF-calendarThe Health Support Foundation is set to storm another deprived and perhaps forsaken community in Ghana in the foundation’s quest to  impact lives positively.

The foundation, this time will set its sights on two extremely inaccessible communities in the Assin North District of the Central region; Betensinso and Amponsakrom. The outreach takes off from 5th to 7th March, 2016.

volunteersThe 3-day major humanitarian/health outreach will see the volunteers provide health services, educational campaigns, donation of assorted items to the needy, initiation of targeted social improvement projects and some stimulus package for the promotion of education in the area.

In an interview with rawgist.com, founder and leader of the group, Mr. James Gawu appealed for used clothing, toys, bags, shoes and other items that are fit for donation from well meaning Ghanaians.

The Health Support foundation comprises a team of dedicated youth from various academic and professional backgrounds who visit the remotest parts of the country and try to put smiles on the faces of the downtrodden. The group has also began taking up challenges from urban communities as well. They have been providing support for children with special needs at the New Horizon Special School at Cantonments in Accra.
