In an interview on Focus FM Morning Show, he stated that copyright when properly harnessed will inure to the benefit of the country’s economy. Mr. Ibrahim says Ghana should take cue from Nigeria, where contribution of copyright is over 5% of the country’s GDP.
He added that if Ghanaians have one of the best cultures in Africa and believes copyright when harnessed properly, would contribute more than Nigeria.
He is therefore admonishing the Ghana Education Service to incorporate copyright in the Education curriculum to increase the awareness and educate more Ghanaians on it.
