Ghana News-Mr. Godwin Bobobee, who is vying for the Ashanti regional organizer position on the ticket of the largest opposition party; the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vowed to increase votes for the party and consequently change the voting pattern in the region.
He says the NDC over the years has suffered political misfortunes with the perception that, the region is a stronghold of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He believes the only way to change the trend is to vote in a grassroots person of his calibre to organize the youth of the party and other floating voters to vigorously work to ensure the NDC secures the needed votes to help the party recapture power in election 2020.
He points out in an interaction with this journalist that elections is about excellent organization, and expressed the hope that should the Ashanti regional NDC give him the mandate to become the regional organizer, the NDC would definitely see a huge rise in votes.
He vowed to play a leading role in exposing the abysmal performance of the NPP government especially in the areas of corruption and economic management of the country.
