GRASAG begins process to elect new leaders

grasagGraduate students from all over the country have converged at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Tarkwa with the ultimate purpose of electing new leaders
to champion the course of graduate students.

The congress, which was supposed to have taken place last week had to be postponed and the venue changed from Tamale to Tarkwa due to ill preparation by the executive.

The most pressing issue at this year’s congress by rawgist.com’s interviews with delegates will be that of Graduate Student’s bursaries which has been delayed “unduly”.

“No bursaries no vote” was the mantra on the various tertiary campuses prior to the congress.

Raymond Ayilu and Innocent Badasu, both experienced student leaders are locking horns for control of the office of National GRASAG President.
