Ghana’s biggest book festival (GAWBOFEST) comes off tomorrow

The Ghana Association of Writers (GAW) says all is set for Ghana’s biggest book festival scheduled for Thursday 21st September, 2017.

Tomorrow’s festival themed  “Empowering Ghana through reading” will be held at PAWA House (South Ridge Road, near Accra Girls SHS) from 8:30am to 7:30pm.

President of the Ghana Association of Writers; Nana Kwesi Gyan Apenteng tells rawgist.com all authors, publishers, librarians, teachers, parents, children, illustrators and book lovers are expected at the festival.

He reveals to rawgist.com that tomorrow’s programme will be the 7th edition and as such a lot of experience is going into its organisation to enrich the programme.

 

The programme is expected to line up celebrated professionals within writing and publishing circles.
