Ghanaian Dancehall musicians take over

dancehall_kingDancehall in Ghana has for some time now gotten attention due to its numerous artiste who are coming up. Dancehall music which has been known to be the music of Jamaicans has now taking over Ghana’s music industry.

We can also talk about the fact that most of the underground artistes are mostly into Dancehall music due to its prominence in Ghana.

The likes of Kaakie, Shattawale, Stonebwoy, Samini, Jupitar and others have taken center stage in Ghana’s dancehall fever.

The new faces of Dancehall in Ghana, such as Episode, Mzvee, Rudebwoy Ranking and AK Songstress has been seen on most platforms doing their own things.

In the new edition of Eventguide newspaper for the Christmas and New Year, these new dancehall artistes have been featured for music lovers to have a fair idea about who they are in real life and their music.

The new edition also features the launch of Pulse with Yemi Alade as a guest artiste at the event not forgetting DKB Live which was held at the Ghana Telecom University which had everyone cracking his or ribs at the show MTN hitmaker finals at National theatre.

Another feature in the newest edition of Eventguide Newspaper Magazine is the fashion week organized by Glitz magazine, which brought most African designers to a one stop at the conference center.

It also featured the Bass Awards for 2014 which was held at the stadium by The Rackus Production crew. The event was said to be one of Ghana’s best organized events at the stadium where the crown enjoyed to the end.
