Ghana YouthSpeak: Largest youth gathering on SDG set for May

Following several surveys and youth engagements, AIESEC, with strategic support from UNDP Ghana office will be engaging the youth of Ghana to discuss the Sustainable Development Goals relative to the youth.

The programme which is scheduled for 26th May, 2017 in Accra will feature keynote addresses, workshops, panel discussions as well as action spaces.

It will bring together 600 top youth leaders, business executives, civil society and opinion leaders.

The aim is to generate well- outlined, actionable ideas on how young people can be engaged in various strata of society as far as the implementation of the SDGs are concerned.

It is expected to be the largest youth gathering of the year.

The outcome of the forum will see young people becoming more knowledgeable on the various SDGs that affect our everyday life and also making measurable commitments towards their achievement. Ideas will be conceptualized and taken back by various individuals and organizations for real world impact.

Ghana YouthSpeak forum is supported by other goodwill community partners like the Young African Leaders Network (YALN Ghana), Galaxy youth foundation, INSPYA GH, JCI Ghana and a host of partners.

  2. Educative enough but courage from individuals to implement the acquired knowledge for change is vital and worth imparted.
