Ghana is blessed to have a caring President – Francis Adomako

Mr Francis Adomako, Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic

The Ashanti Regional Organiser, Francis Adomako has commended the President of the Republic, Nana Akufo-Addo for showing care amidst the threat of the dreaded coronavirus outbreak.

According to the organiser, the President has done all that needed to be done to help the country control the outbreak.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer newspaper Friday morning, Mr Adomako said the President has also sought collaboration with all agencies and outfits that could help stop the spread of the viral disease in the country.

These meetings with the right institutions as well as the clergy shows the kind of heart the President has for the country, Mr Adomako noted.

“It is calming to find that your President was a caring one and was determined to ensure the safety of his people”, Mr Adomako passionately stated.

DETAILS:
Mr Adomako said a meeting with the security agencies before the disease hit the grounds of Ghana showed that the President was alert.

Following up with a meeting with manufacturing sector heads and the Pharmaceutical companies at the Jubilee House on ways of controlling the disease outbreak and the provision of essential medications was a master stroke from the President, Mr Adomako posited.

The NPP organiser stated that the decision by the President to give directives as to how the public should conduct themselves in the face of the outbreak as well as the ban on social gatherings was a laudable move.

Mr Adomako said the acknowledgement of God’s divine protection and thus calling Ministers of the Gospel to pray at the Jubilee House showed that the President had fully accomplised all that was expected of him.

“It was gratifying to find the President engage with all manner of groups to ensure we were covered in the wake of this disease outbreak”, the NPP organiser stressed.

CONDEMNATION:
Taking a swipe at Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of the NDC, Mr Adomako described the latest outbursts of the former as shameful.

The organiser said for the NDC scribe to insinuate that the precautionary measures being undertaken by government was a means to rig the 2020 general elections was totally infantile.

He wondered why an experienced politician in the shape of Mr Nketia could stoop so low to churn out debasing tantrums.

The NPP organiser called on Ghanaians to reject the NDC as well as anyone with same mindset in the 2020 polls.

“It is pathetic to realise the way the NDC and its General Secretary think and for them to ignore basic precautionary measures to combat this strange disease while they seek to do politics with same shows they are not a patriotic bunch”, Mr Adomako stated.
