14 oz /400 g onions
34 oz /1 liter of water
14 oz /400 g of brown sugar
2 tablespoons turmeric
Cleaned small root ginger
Put a bowl on heat. Pour water along with sugar and leave them to boil. Add the cleaned onion, chopped in quarters, and the grated ginger root (about the size of your thumb). Place the turmeric and when it starts boiling, reduce the heat.
