Focus FM should be the clearing house for all KNUST-related news-Dean of Students

The Dean of Students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has encouraged journalists at KNUST’s campus radio station; Focus FM to endeavor to be abreast with occurrences on the university campus.

Prof. William Gariba believes strongly that with a well resourced entity like Focus FM, University authorities do not need to deal directly with other media houses on campus-related news.

“I believe focus fm should be the clearing house of all campus news”, he said during a capacity building workshop held for staff of Focus FM and Tek TV Friday.

The Dean promised to do all in his power to ensure that Focus FM and the workers there receive the support they need to discharge their duties.

James Kwasi Oberko; a Broadcaster and an Assistant Registrar at the University Relations Office drew the attention of the presenters to some common mistakes and highlighted the need for consistency in their broadcasting.

General Manager for Focus Fm; Nana Kwadwo Jantuah expressed gratitude to the management of the University for their commitment to the radio station and encouraged the presenters to put in their best and remain professional at all times.
