Don’t feign blindness-Nana Addo jabs Mahama

Akufo-AddoNana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party has taken a swipe at the President, John Mahama for feigning blindness at the misery of Ghanaians.

According to him, there were clear signs of decline in every facet of the economy including infrastructure as well as the living standards of the people.

But, surprisingly, the NPP leader noted President Mahama was behaving like a pretentious fellow who looked unconcerned about the difficulties of the Ghanaian people.

”Rather than traveling on the road to see what we see you have now become so powerful that you use the helicopter to travel on campaign tours and no wonder you don’t feel what we feel’, Nana Addo slammed at a press conference in Kumasi.

INSULTS:
The flag-bearer said he had come under a lot of flak and insults from members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) anytime he criticized the president of living in another world but added he was not deterred since all he had said had been in good faith.

According to him, all the infrastructure claims the NDC are loudly touting is not real and it has not gotten to the people as they paint so brazenly in the media.

He insisted everywhere he had visited and met with chiefs the requests from them have been the provision of school infrastructure or the refurbishment of a road among others.

”Everywhere i have visited the requests have been similar with the chiefs and traditional leaders whose first request to me had been to assist them with a school building or the construction of their roads”, Nana Addo revealed.

POLICIES:
Flanked by party members and executives including Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng, Nana Addo intimated the resolve of the NPP to provide quality leadership to the Ghanaian people.

He opined all the party’s programs and policies had been tailored to open up the Ghanaian economy to ensure the private sector plays its vital role in the provision of jobs and opportunities for the unemployed.

According to the flag-bearer, the NPP had envisioned an economy  where tax incentives as well as stable electricity supply were given to industries and employers to ensure their businesses thrive.

He promised to provide every constituency with a seed capital of 1million dollars to ensure people get access to credit facilities and capital for business.
