DCE’s complicity in “Moneycracy” exposed

Mary Boatemaa-Marfo, DCE Sekyere East

The District Chief Executive for Sekyere East, Madam Mary Boatemaa-Marfo has been cited as the conduit through whom the embattled and defeated aspirant, Lawyer Kwame Adom Appiah sent inducement monies to some delegates in the constituency.

Last Sunday the DCE approached one Yaw Kumah, a polling station chairman for Okaikrom to collect monies she had given for distribution to some delegates.

Yaw Kumah, who confirmed the DCE’s complicity in the unholy transaction said the aspirant had sent about GHc10,000 through the DCE to be shared among the delegates but some of them refused to take the money.

As a result, the DCE called on Yaw Kumah last Sunday to collect the remaining GHC6,000 remaining monies after the polls.

DCE Boatemaa-Marfo has declined to answer questions relating to the allegations.
