Columbus-Ohio NPP Chapter swears in new Executives

The Columbus Ohio Chapter of NPP-USA has sworn into office Rev. Samuel Sarkodee (Sam Sarks) as its Chairman.

The branch also ushered in new crop of leaders who would assist the chairman to deliver on his mandate.

The activity became necessary after the substantive Chairman of the branch, Dr. Alexander Adusei was given appointment by the President of the Republic of Ghana as the Director of Keta Port earlier this year.

Pursuant to the party’s  guidelines, the chapter has appointed  the following:
Chairman: Rev. Sam Sarkodee (Sam Sarks)

1st Vice Chairman: Nana Ampem Darko

2nd Vice Chairperson: Amma Oduro Manu

Secretary: Danny Opoku Antwi

Vice Secretary: Jeremiah Okore

Treasurer: Dr. Ben Arthur

Financial Secretary: Michael Amoako

Womens Organizer: Amma Oduro Manu

Deputy Womens Organizer: Paulina Appiah

Organizer: Nana Andoh Oppong

Youth Organizer: Sandra Okyere

Deputy Youth Organizer: John Bart Addo

Communications Officer: Lydia Harris

Deputy Communications Officer: George Akwasi-Appiah Boateng

Nasara Coordinator: Mohammed Ridwan

These people were appointed as Council of Elders to the chapter:

Swearing in the newly elected and appointed officers on  behalf of the NPP USA Branch Chairperson, Mrs. Obaa Yaa Frimpong and the Deputy Communication Director of the Branch, Dr. Samuel Dwomoh, admonished them to be united and work hard for victory 2020.

ACCEPTANCE:
The Chairman, Rev Sam Sarkodee in his acceptance speech thanked the immediate past chairman and his team as well as the party leadership and promised to team up with his executives, the Chapter and the Branch and Party Headquarters to uplift the image of the party.

He also promised to promote the good works of the President and the ruling NPP Government to help the party to retain power come year 2020 and beyond.

Mr. John Lees Ampiah who spoke on behalf of the Council of Elders of the chapter advised the newly executives to avoid bickering and forge unity to help the party to be attractive in Ohio.

OTHER SPEAKERS:
The Special Guest of Honour, Mr. Eric Amoako Twum, government spokesperson and Communication specialist at Ministry of Trade and Industry recounted the numerous achievements by the government.

He charged the new executives to discharge their duties assiduously to retain the elephant party in power in the 2020 elections to continue with the numerous pragmatic programs and policies being implemented by the President.

He also commended the chapter for its show of patriotism and commitment to the cause of the party and told the Chapter to be united.
