Bryan Acheampong F’dation organizes quiz competition for schools in Kwahu East

To help improve the standard of education,Bryan Acheampong Foundation has organised inter-school quiz competition for basic schools in the Kwahu East District.

Pupils were quizzed on on varied subjects, includjng questions from science, English, social studies, ICT and WaSH.

The competition, which is currently ongoing in some selected cluster areas has as prizes computers and accessories, books , sports materials, reading books among others for all participating schools.

The winners and participants of the competition Will be presented with certificates, teaching and learning materials and other awards.

The NGO in the next quarter will provide scholarship to 1000 students, school uniforms, and rehabilitation of school buildings.

In an address, the Director for development, Mr. Eric Nyarko told the gathering that he believes the quiz competition will impact positively on education in the district.

He added, this forms part of the activities at BAF to improve knowledge in school going children, improve performance of pupils and communities at large.

In his final remarks, Mr Nyarko, said the quiz competition addresses one aspect of BAF entire education programme, which is to impact knowledge and improve educational standards, collaborate with teachers, PTA and community members to enhance quality education in the District.
