Executive Director of Purpose Discovery Foundation (PDF) Ghana, Mr Collins Bonsu has called for the re-introduction of the book; courtesy for boys and girls and life etiquette into the educational system.
He also advises that the elderly make it their responsibility to teach the young ones about courtesy in their homes as part of non-formal education.
‘‘One’s success does not depend on his or her performance and strength alone, but also, the fact that others wish you well’’.
Speaking on Royal Fm’s morning show, he noted that the youth have refused to “learn life”; adding that the elderly must make it their responsibility to teach the youth the essence of a good moral life.
He further noted that respect must be shown in all endeavors such as in marriage, work place and church.
‘‘What you are able to do will create doors for you but it is your mannerisms, politeness and character that will maintain you where you are’’ Mr Collins Bonsu noted.
