Bono East: “No roads, No votes”-Adiesu residents charge, MCE responds

The Municipal Chief Executive for Techiman has assured the people of Adiesu; a suburb of Techiman that they will see work on a portion of their road soon. The people of the area complained bitterly to Globe TV about the sorry state of their road.

The MCE; John Kofi Donyina who spoke to Bernard Buachi on the Wake-up show on Globe TV, assured the people that a portion of the road will soon be fixed using bitumen. He explained that not the entire stretch will be fixed immediately.

He cautioned sandwinners who are constantly using the road to either help fix the road or desist from plying the road when it is fixed.

The people of the town had vowed to throw out any politician who would come to the area to campaign. They insisted that the poor road is affecting their livelihoods negatively.

“We will not hesitate to use canes on them if the come here to campaign to us” two of the town folk hinted angrily.

Meanwhile, the Assemblyman for Twimia Koase electoral area; Hon Kassim Adam told GLOBE TV he was at his wits end as he has done everything within his power to get the road fixed
