Drivers and Passengers who ply the road on daily and weekly bases told rawgist.com that armed robbers operate in broad day light every week making traveling on the said road very scary.

Kwaku Atta Osei, a Commercial driver alleged that most of the culprits who engage in the act are foreigners from neighboring countries such as Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Togo etc who had come to engage in Galamsey (illegal mining) businesses around the area.

Aunte Mallick, a business woman who had to go to Bole from Techiman every week says the Police in the area are not helping matters at all.

The peace Officer said there have been about six robberies recently and he called on the citizenry to be of help to the police in making sure the situation is normalized.
