Be bold: “I showed courage when I contested for President”- Addai Nimoh

Addai-NimoMember of parliament for Mampong, Hon. Dr. Francis Addai Nimo has advised students to be courageous in pursuing their dreams. He is also calling on them to plan ahead of time to secure a great future.

Highlighting how well he plans ahead of time, the two time member of parliament said he started praying for his future wife when he was in Senior High School (then senior Secondary School).

Speaking to students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology at a Students’ Representatives Council organized programme dubbed “TekTalk” under the theme “Exploring potentials, raising leaders in the 21st Century”, the ranking member on Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation challenged the students to gather courage to pursue their dreams. “The future is for those who dare to dream”, He stated citing his courage to contest in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) primaries as presidential candidate as an example.

He urged the students to put their skills into practice irrespective of the situation to make them successful in life. “Stay focused and ignore the noise. Life was created simple and should be lived as such. If you want to be a leader, you have to be hardworking, take risks and explore your capabilities”, he advised.

Hon. Addai Nimoh is a graduate of KNUST and a former SRC president who was invited to empower the students of KNUST through their programme “TekTalk”.
